HRT Week 79 Review

Transition experiences: Went to the beach again yesterday as me and chatted with a few people along the way and they didn’t behave or look at me strangely at all.

My mom was asking what I wanted for my birthday and I said that I liked jewelry and she mentioned that she guesses she will me all her big jewelry now. That was affirming! I also told her that tops are good and what size I wear.

My insurance declined a pre-authorization for a minor trans-related procedure and I’m still waiting to get their letter detailing which hoops I’ll need to jump through to qualify. Humph.

Emotional: Better than last week and feeling more resilient, but still wobbly. My wife and I told our kids last night that we’re divorcing and the build up and delivery was fraught, and I’m happy to have that behind us. They seemed to take it pretty well, but I’m expecting a delayed reaction from them. Maybe from me too.

Physical: My labs came back and based on that, I’ve upped my dose to 6mg/day estradiol. A little more tenderness in the chest due to the increase, but nothing else of note.

Weight: 180 lbs.

Dose: 6 mg/day estradiol
