The Fit

I never fit
In your world
Of beards and bluster
Sexism and swagger
Violence and virility
You knew
Cursing me
The over-sensitive
So-called
Young man
Punishing me
To be more manly
So I went
Where women gathered
Alone together
Against the bullshit
And the fists
And discovered
How it feels
To fit
