Insight

It is not your leaving that I fear
It is the never returning
It is not your anger that I fear
It is the indifference
It is not the other person that I fear
It is the me being lacking
It is not your rejection that I fear
It is the deserving it
It is not your contempt that I fear
It is the clumsiness of my attempts
It is not being wrong that I fear
It is the not trying
It is not making mistakes that I fear
It is the lack of forgiveness
It is not the future that I fear
It is the past
